Informations Touristiques des Parcs Nationaux

Quelques points importants concernant les Parcs Nationaux:

Le National Park Service gère tous les sites naturels, les réserves écologiques et un grand nombre de monuments historiques.
Dans chaque Parc National se trouve un Visitors Center où l'on distribue des plans du parc, des renseignements et des dépliants. On y organise aussi des expositions et des conférences sur la faune et la flore en Anglais.
C'est au Visitors Center que sont concentrées les réservations pour les prestations hôtelières dans le parc. RESERVEZ longtemps à l'avance pour la pleine saison. Pour les parcs principaux, la foule y est souvent compacte en Août. RESERVEZ !!!
Les RANGERS sont en charge de ces sites et se reconnaissent à leur uniforme vert et à leur chapeau à large bords. Ils sont en charge de la sécurité, font appliquer le règlement souvent très sévère, donnent des informations et des conférences.
L'entrée dans la plupart des Parcs Nationaux est payante.
Dans les Monuments ou les Sites Nationaux il y a souvent des présentations des Rangers en Anglais, mais aucun hébergement.
